Victory Gold
Trying out my new illamasqua new polish in Victory...ughh although it applies with ease (ie not gloppy) it has that horrible streaky effect that only pearlised nail vanish gets ughh, which I hate!!! To make matters worse it took forever ever ever to dry! Meaning a few accidents and smudges...
So my super go better idea....add gold glitter polish to the top! (old No7 glitter polish)
Now this should have gone brilliantly however the glitter does not show up very well (I think the polish and glitter is exactly the same colour). Meaning in some lights it looks great and then in others it just seems damn grainy! Like I put my wet nails in sand....which I guess is a look in itself...if ya into that kinda ting!
All in all it was a bit of a fail and I shall either work on getting the application of Victory right or just use it on an accent nail...
Gold finger signing out!

Matte about you- Grey nails
Nails of the Day!
With flash:
Without:
Today I kept it simple and went for Barry M nail paint in 293 Grey
With some Essie - Matte about you
I love this essie polish it makes easy work of matte nails! add it ultimately works out cheaper to buy a matte topcoat opposed to buying loads of differing matte polishes.
I will admit that I did want to paint my nails another colour as soon as all this dried...as I remembered I had a new colour :( boooo! But I thought I should be good and leave my handy work alone for a day or so

Product of the Week!- Garnier 2in1 Waterproof make-up dissolver
Garnier Clean Sensitive 2in 1 Waterproof Make-Up Dissolver

(Insert generic internet photo...wait no illustration?!?)
I tried this product as oil cleansers seemed all the rage but I did not want to waste my money on an expensive one to then HATE it. So I figured start cheap and see if it is something I want to try more of.
Also this will sound gross but I hate washing my face in the winter, ie at the sink, sooo cold and horrible so I like a tissue off or non-wash cleanser. Obviously I wash my face in the shower!
Just to note: My skin used to be Dry and Sensitive, but I have been finding in the last year it has become more oily but sadly still remains sensitive.
This product is layered product that you need to shake, essentially an oil and 'water'. Then on to the cotton ball and off with the make up! As I am sure many of you are aware waterproof make-up especially mascara requires an oil to remove, so this is perfect for those tough jobs. Add its for face AND eyes! Bonus!
I love this product and have repurchased it a LOT.
I find it removes all traces of make up and dirty without too much aggravation...I do not need to scrub til my skin is raw with this product.
I was worried about the oily film you often get with Oil cleansers, especially on the eyes helllooo blurred vision, but this product does not do that (Ohh how I love thee). The oil seems to disappear leaving your face feeling fresh opposed to oily. This is brilliant as I was worried with my oily skin that using this would cause an oil overload but thankfully not!
It really does live up to its name of sensitive, my skin did not react to it and no tightness after use either. It does not contain alcohol or perfume which I feel is essential for winter skin.
Normally I have to grab my moisturiser fast after cleansing and I love the fact that this does not leave my skin with that uncomfortable feeling.
Honestly the best cleanser I have tried in a long time and so cheap!
5/5 go buy! :D
Update
Well Well Well, in a little corner sat my blog...gathering dust and little love!
No excuses really just a case of the "I will do it tomorrow"'s
I hope those who are still subbed to me are not too scared by a random blog appearing from someone you cannot quite remember subscribing to! :)
A little update on myself;
I turned 25 on Wednesday to my horror- Now I understand to some that will seem young and although for the most part I agree, just I feel 25 is really the turning point from young to adult. Odd I know. Also for those who are thinking 25 young?!?! trust me it will arrive before you know it and then your be remembering back.
Started a Masters, I love the course but hate the fact there is so much group work and some very questionable students. Hate the fact I am truly poor, no loan, living at home ect. The course is very full time so I have not even been able to work along side it. Living off saved money is not much fun but it has just been my birthday, as I mentioned, so the bank manager is happy again.
So yes I think that is you up to speed and I will try to be a more frequent blogger from now on!
